STEAM Kits You Should Check Out

My kids LOVE to build! We have Duplos, Legos, and K’Nex! It’s all they play with. This year, my oldest asked for a robotics kit for Christmas. In my searching I found a few kits that we will be adding to our collection over the next few birthdays and Christmases. If your kids are into engineering and robotics Here are a few STEAM kits you should check out. These kits are also a great addition to your homeschool curriculum.

Engino STEAM kits

These STEAM kits are designed for ages 3-16+ and cover a wide range of topics. Simple machines, levers, inertia, solar power, and so much more are explored in these kits. This company has kits that are affordable to tackle these topics at home.

They also have school curriculums that you or your co-op can use.

This company is truly worth a look if you’d like to explore STEAM with your children!

Makeblock

Is your child into robotics or coding? Then you need to check out Makeblock! They have kits that allow your child to build a robot and then using an app they can create code for the robot. These are a little more on the pricey side (at least for our budget) but what I love is that after you have the base kit there are affordable add-on kits. This will keep your kids interested in their robot, learn more about coding and allow their imaginations run wild!

I can’t wait for my son to open his robotics kit on Christmas. I hope that this helps you with finding awesome gifts or additions to your school for your STEAM loving kiddos!
